Malabar

The county

I just removed the following block of events as they aren't actually in SC the town -- but I cant recall if the county has the same name and thus would call for some disambiging... and I even lived there... 17:54, 5 April 2006 (EDT)

The Truth about Santa Cruz

[Edit] I hate to say it, but this description of my hometown is pure caca. Summer is often cold and foggy, winter is often cold and rainy. Pristine beaches? They're nice for sure, but daily bacteria warnings for the water kind of puts a damper on swimming in the 55 degree F water. It's a great town, but let's not mislead people. The city's beauty and ambiance is somewhat dampened by the meth-heads and other nut jobs wandering around downtown yelling at no one in particular. Having said that, the anything-goes atmosphere is somewhat refreshing and welcoming to those of us who like things a little off the beaten path. The university is first-rate. Come to Santa Cruz, for sure, just don't expect the eden written in the paragraphs above. —The preceding comment was added by 72.14.121.130 (talk • contribs)
