Georgetown

edit

In 1950, we moved to Georgetown. There were few houses, nice ones. Ours was the oldest, next to our home was the big Boys Club. My brothers were there all the for indoor games and work shops, like wood building, pool tables etc, friday night movies we enjoyed. The only picture is of an old brick apartment building across from railroad tracks, we would cross as a short cut to school, through a small up hill forest. I wonder if ithe forest is still there. we were grade school children. Zellerbachs was by railroad tracks our side. I think we moved because Boeings bought all the property in our neighborhood. their ere twelve of us including our parents.Just over a small hill was the Police Station. Thank you for bring back great memories. 2600:8801:1398:B600:4C4C:7288:278A:BBD4 21:40, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
