I think the crime rates are exaggerated. I've been to Serres recently since my wife's origin is from there and the nightlife is vibrant. I asked her and she said that yes crime rates increased the last 15 years or so but not to the extend claimed by the article. Some editing is required. 86.179.52.152

Are we talking about the Serres town where I live in ?

Being born and raised in Serres, I was really surprised -in a negative way- to read all those crime comments which are well beyond the truth ! While reading it I was wondering if I live in another town or not !! "..however be sure to bring some form of defensive weapon with you if you are in Serres.." Pardon me ?!! Please edit straight away !!!
