Talk:Sintra
I think I've been there. Does the palace have an upright royal bathtub? -(WT-en) phma 22:15, 14 Aug 2004 (EDT)
Observations
editI just been to Sintra, a few observations:
As late as mid july is still out-of-season, there pleanty of room, finding parking spots takes a little time, but not terribly difficult, if you are willing to walk a little and enjoy the view. Like everywhere in Portugal the road signs however are non-existing at best, and often wrong, so buy a very accurate up-to-date road map.
Everything in Sintra closes around 18:00 (some places at 19), so be arrive there no later than 16. This includes many places to eat. The closing hours do not change in high season. 85.235.250.110 05:19, 18 July 2007 (EDT)
Corrections:
the tram is working now until September 25th 2011. They go every hour, beginning at 9:20 am from Sintra. The cost of the Ticket is 2€ for flat fare, 1€ for half ticket and for children up to 6 years is free.

- I like the current banner best, with the caveat that I've never been to Sintra. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:30, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- I was in Sintra in February, and I prefer #1, although there is room for improvement here. While I think Pena Palace would be a more interesting banner than the Moorish castle, the commons doesn't have a photo that would work in 7:1 . Ground Zero (talk) 21:38, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
