"St Helens is a growing town, which takes most of its influences from the nearby city of Liverpool" - Does this statement require a reference? Where is the evidence that the town is growing? In what sense is it growing? Business & economics or just population? Is it physically getting larger? It also says that the town takes 'most of its influences from the nearby city of Liverpool'. In what way is the town influenced? Fashion, music, architecture, business, culture, accent etc. As this sentence adds nothing to the article should it be deleted?
