Talk:Sunlight Mountain
This sounds like it should be merged into Glenwood Springs? (WT-en) Jpatokal 01:10, 22 Mar 2005 (EST)
sunlight mtn
editSunlight Mountain should probably maintain its own area on the "ski resort" page like its peers: A-basin, Copper Mountain, Loveland, etc. It may be a smaller mountain (Cooper, Powderhorn ans Silverton are three other mountain resorts that should be added to the colorado ski resort listing), but, it is a mountain ski resort with lodging, drinks, lifts and skiing.
That said, its address is Glenwood Springs.
Passes the SLEEP test?
editOn the face of it this article seems to pass the Sleep test. That would make it a Resort destination, perhaps. The question is would the content overwhelm any other destination page it was put on? -- (WT-en) Huttite 04:07, 22 Mar 2005 (EST)
- This doesn't seem like it would become the best of articles. Its a ski resort - you can ski, learn to ski, buy skis. Seems like you could just point it out in the "home town" article... -- (WT-en) Ilkirk 16:47, 21 March 2006 (EST)
- I think it's pretty marginal. I've never skied there, but it appears, from the cited link, that there is exactly one (1) lodge, and it's pretty small. If it passes the "you can sleep there" test, so do zillions of other motels in the boonies that aren't destinations. Furthermore, the resort's web site itself refers to Glenwood Springs as the associated "town." VFD nomination coming, unless someone comes up with a reason why it shouldn't be so -- Colorado as a whole is sort of a mess at the moment that I'm trying to straighten out, and the less marginal stuff, the better, IMO. -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 13:05, 29 May 2006 (EDT)
Redirect
editNot sure if a decision was ever made on this - looks like it may have been forgotten. I'll cast my vote for a merge & redirect. -- (WT-en) Fastestdogever 17:38, 8 April 2007 (EDT)
