Talk:Veg-friendly air travel

Whilst this might be a valid travel topic, the title is strange.

First, Wikivoyage positively discourages lists, so to have a an article titled as a list is contrary to stated policy.

Second, "veg" would read much better as "vegetarian".

I suggest the article is moved to Vegetarian-friendly airlines.--(WT-en) burmesedays 05:09, 3 October 2011 (EDT)

Thanks for the feedback.

Concerning your first point, I didn't think it out enough. "Veg-friendly air travel" would be probably more appropriate and in line with editorial policies. I'll make the switch right now.

As for the second point, although the term "veg" is a bit ugly it includes both vegetarians and vegans. "Vegetarian" wouldn't cater to vegans although they are the harshest-treated on airlines and the most in need of such a list.

I also think this would be better addressed using the name Vegetarian-friendly airlines. Any vegans that are about are very likely to look there.
I suggest that a section is then established within the travel topic that deals with veganism and airline travel.-- (WT-en) felix 09:43, 3 October 2011 (EDT)
