Merging with Westerly

edit

When I proposed merging Watch Hill with Westerly a couple of weeks ago, the article had relatively little content. It has developed since then into a significant article. However, the article is now inconsistent, describing Watch Hill as both a "District" and as a "Town". Which is it? - (WT-en) Huttite 05:56, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

Watch Hill can safely be considered a "District" within Westerly, because it is not a stand alone town.
We have just fixed that problem and added some pictures. I think the page looks really good. Is there any way we can get that notice on the top removed? Seeing we have developed it into a significant article and fixed the town, district mix-up. Thank you.
I support the removal of the "Merger Proposal." It seems pretty evident that the article is robust enough to stand as its own district template.
I also support the removal of the merger proposal. For me, Watch Hill is a distinct resort destination and the rest of Westerly doesn't attract or interest me. I heard about the rest of Westerly only after I visited Watch Hill, and certainly not the other way around.
Return to "Watch Hill" page.
