  • Oama Hot Spring (小天温泉). Visited by, among others, famed novelist Natsume Soseki.

Kumamoto ramen in the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) style is very popular in Tamana, and may originate from here. The city has more than 10 tonkotsu ramen shops, with queues in front of the best ones.
