Tobruk has two major war cemeteries.
- 1 Knightsbridge War Cemetery (25 km west of Tobruk, 750 m south of main road).
- 2 Tobruk War Cemetery (7 km inland from Tobruk,). Commemorates soldiers killed during the Siege of Tobruk in 1941; see World War II in Africa.
