Get around

edit
  • 1 Toorale Homestead precinct (Yarramarra), 4258 Toorale Road, Gumbalie, +61 2 6830 0200. Daily 8AM–5PM. This station was once a part of the world's largest sheep station – today it's an important site for the Indigenous Kurnu-Baakandji People, who run daily tours. If you so happen to not join a tour, you can alternatively take the 200-meter Toorale Homestead walk, a trail that encircles the homestead.
  • Darling River Drive (Yuthuru Paaka Thuru) – a 41-kilometre (25 mi) loop that takes an hour and thirty minutes. It passes through some of northwest NSW's largest floodplains along the banks of the Darling River. Fishing is completely legal, provided that you have a license from Service NSW – yellow belly and cod, anyone?.
