These are only few qoutes that totally apply to me and are my favourite. I live in small European contry Slovenia and love to travel. I always seek for adventure. If you say that it is impossible or dangerous to go somewhere, I'll go there and prove that it's possible or safe. I really enjoy budget travel, I like the feeling that I was on train and didn't pay for it (Yes, I was on a local train in Germany once and spent four hours locked in toilet, so conductor couldn't find me without ticket on train :D), I like to eat, but nothing's more delicious than free food to me. I always try to dive in local culture which is always the most interesting part of travel. I love overland travel.
Some of trips I've already done:
- Scotland overland (only using local transport and hitchhiking)
- Sweden overland (by own car, unfortunately)
- Egypt - Libya - Tunisia (by plane unfortunately, but used local transportation only to get around :))
- Turkey - North Cyprus (by ferry from Trieste to Greece, then overland to Turkey and to North Cyprus and then flight back home)
- etc.
Some trips I wish to do:
- Morrocco - Algeria - Tunisia overland (yes I know it's impossible to cross land border between Morrocco and Algeria, but this is the reason I want to do this trip)
- Lebanon to Palestine avoiding Israel
- Iran overland
- Transsiberian by taking train (not plane) from Ljubljana to Moscow and all the way to Vladivostok
- Kolyma highway
- North Korea
- Kuril islands
- etc.
