Hi, Beth! Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. Thank you for your contributions to Cuzco and elsewhere. Please take a look at our image policy to see why some of your photos are up for deletion. Don't let that discourage you from continuing to contribute, though! -- (WT-en) Jonboy 17:13, 28 April 2006 (EDT)

editHi Beth, Thanks for you input on Guanajuato and Cuzco and the great pictures. I am exceedingly jealous that you got to spend a term in Cuzco! One thing to note about Wikivoyage is that we have a very stringent image policy, especially when it comes to people in photographs. It seems a bit over the top to me, but mean that photos with people in are usually deleted (which is a great shame, especially with all the fascinating Andean people there are). -- (WT-en) DanielC 17:14, 28 April 2006 (EDT)
- Looks to me as if you may have reloaded some of these with language added, to cover the release issues. Actually, that isn't necessary. You can just go in and edit the existing photos and insert text saying that you took them and release them under the terms of any version of the CC-SA license, or something to that effect. (Might check out my Image:Kateri.jpg for an example; the language below the photo is borrowed from a few other people and seems to pass muster.) Either way, those are great shots, and you're doing great work! Keep it up, and don't let the cavils about photos bother you -- that's a hot topic right now and the way of dealing with photos is evolving. -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 09:57, 14 May 2006 (EDT)
