Hello, 2.229.85.139! Thank you for contributing to Wikivoyage, but please note that one or more of your recent edits has been reverted as it appeared to be an attempt to use this site to advertise or promote a business or service. Wikivoyage is created by travellers for travellers, and while business owners and employees are welcome to contribute, use of this site for promotional purposes is not allowed.

If you feel that your edits were incorrectly identified as promotional, please read Wikivoyage's guidelines on identifying promotional edits. If, after reading that guideline, you still feel your edits were incorrectly removed, please use this talk page or the talk page of the article where your edit was removed to explain why your change was not promotional. Note that it is very important that you discuss your proposed change before re-adding it since repeated promotional edits can lead to a temporary block of your account's ability to edit Wikivoyage, and in serious cases the business in question may be blacklisted from Wikivoyage.

Blocked

edit

Because of this touty listing, you are now blocked for 24 hours. Take that time to read Wikivoyage:Don't tout thoroughly. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:45, 11 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

You're now blocked for 3 days. Do you want to try for 2 weeks or read the don't tout page? Your choice. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:30, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Now a 2-week block. It's not that all of your touting is equally bad; it's that you obviously didn't read Wikivoyage:Don't tout and don't reply to any messages on this page. If you've already read the don't tout page and are still confused about why your edits are being reverted and you are being blocked, explain what the problem is. Otherwise, you will keep getting blocked for longer periods. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:02, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Did you read Wikivoyage:Don't tout? Your latest listing is better, but it still required detouting. Don't use promotional capitalization of non-proper names or tout the location. And note that if you are a paid marketer, you are not allowed to add listings at all. I won't block you this time, because this listing was not too bad, but please be careful — and a reply here, showing that you read this page, would be a good idea. Note that if it does become necessary to block you again, it would be for a period of 3 months. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:29, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
And now you're blocked for 3 months and will be blocked essentially indefinitely. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:45, 2 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
