Hi there,

I just reverted an edit you did on the public holidays in Switzerland. You changed some of it with the remark: 'check the given link!', however I am not sure which link you are referring to.

One change you made was that you removed the mention that Easter Monday, Whit Monday and St. Stephen's day are not public holidays in Valais. However, as noted on the official website of the state of Valais, this is correct, none of these days are public holidays, even though they are partially observed. Not that it matters, but this is actually my home region, so I can also confirm this from personal experience. All the details on specific holidays and also mention of the fact that With Monday and Easter Monday are partially observed is noted in the region page of Valais.

There was a discussion on this recently on the Talk:Switzerland#Public_holidays page, where the consensus was to limit the amount of information on public holidays on the main Switzerland page to the essentials and then mention all the canton specific details on the region pages. However, if you don't agree with my reversal of your edit or the public holidays section in general, feel free to go to that page and relaunch the discussion.

Also thank you for your previous edits on Driving in Switzerland and other Switzerland related topics. It's nice to see that there's other people helping to improve the coverage of Switzerland on this website.
