that's already covered in the previous paragraph that Peter added

Could you refer to a specific piece? --(WT-en) DenisYurkin 17:41, 4 January 2010 (EST)

The previous paragraph states: It is also now possible to share text between Wikipedia and Wikivoyage(WT-en) cacahuate talk 17:46, 4 January 2010 (EST)
Yes, it does. But it does not emphasize that our licensing also allows that, and that the license has recently changed--which enabled such sharing. --(WT-en) DenisYurkin 17:58, 4 January 2010 (EST)
We wouldn't state that it's possible if our licensing didn't allow it.... I also added "now" so that it's clear that something changed.... but going into detail isn't really necessary there.... my logic is based on Project:Tone #Be concise – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 18:08, 4 January 2010 (EST)

Page deletion and recreation

edit

Just a heads-up -- deleting and recreating a page, like you did with Project:Local spam blacklist on Jan. 3rd, also wipes out any protection status it had. The spam blacklist is probably the only page where that'll ever be an issue, but there was an anonymous-IP spambot able to mess with it today as a result. (I put it back to its usual "edit by confirmed users only" status.) - (WT-en) D. Guillaime 19:57, 20 January 2010 (EST)

Jordan and Syria map

edit

Thanks for uploading the Caribbean svg file! We're now trying to finish the regions of the Middle East and we need to make some changes to the regions for the map of Syria [1] and the map of Jordan [2]. Could you upload the svg files for those as well? --(WT-en) globe-trotter 14:50, 21 January 2010 (EST)

Belize

edit

I am guessing from the lovely Tobacco Caye article that you know Belize a bit. Please could you look over the map which I have just uploaded and let me know if I have got anything wrong, omitted anything important etc. On the region scheme, I have left it as is bar a few bits of tidying up. One issue though is the offshore islands, none of which have a regional assignation. On the map I have put Ambergris, Caye Caulker and all the other northern islands in Belize District, as that seems right from an access point of view. Tobacco Caye has gone into Stann Creek. Does that make sense? If so, I will assign the correct breadcrumbs. It was a fun map to put together. Cheers. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 10:55, 17 April 2010 (EDT)

Sounds perfect, responding there too – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 11:59, 19 April 2010 (EDT)

Kolkata districts

edit

Hey, as you seem familiar with Kolkata and have been discussing the district breakup before, maybe you can help to finally get the district thing cleared up and mapped? Would be great if you could spare some minutes >> Talk:Kolkata! (WT-en) Sebindi 15:29, 17 April 2010 (EDT)

I'm afraid that my knowledge of Kolkata has dissipated in the few years since I've been there, I don't think I can now be of much help there.... strange how some places stick in the mind and others fall away  :) – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 12:04, 19 April 2010 (EDT)
No problem - I'll try my best to get it right ;) --(WT-en) Sebindi 10:47, 20 April 2010 (EDT)

Dotm Kabul

edit

Hi! What shall we do with the dotm nomination of Kabu? Slush pile or do you think you will be able to draft a map? Thank you, (WT-en) jan 03:21, 11 October 2010 (EDT)

I won't be able to, I would slush it unless someone else can. Thanks – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 23:10, 11 October 2010 (EDT)
