Edit inclusion criteria

What is the earliest date that edits are accepted for the challenge? Also, creating a static Wikivoyage-style subnational map would definitely count, but what about adding a dynamic map to an article that doesn't already have one, but already has coordinates of multiple POIs? Great questions. For earliest date, I would say any edits count because it's such a long list. But if you think you want to only count the edits from the date you sign up, that's up to you. As for adding a dynamic map, I think we should look for a bit more effort because it could easily be done by a bot. OhanaUnited^{Talk page} 03:48, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

"Edit source" only, and only at the top of the page and the section headers, nothing on the table itself (not sure if that was what you were referring too). Brycehughes (talk) 06:53, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

Ok. Depending in which skin you are currently using... Go to "preferences" by clicking on the button OR click on the "person" logo and click on the cog symbol that says "Preference". Then click on "Editing" tab and find "Editor" section. Tick the box that says "Enable the visual editor". Also, go to "Editing mode" with dropdown menu. Select "Show me both editor tabs". Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. Now you should have both options enabled and you can click on "edit" (not "edit source") to open the visual editor to perform WYSIWYG changes on tables and other formattings. Looking for motivation to edit outside of your comfort zone while having fun? I have created an editing challenge where participants aim to make at least one edit in every country in the world (or continent if you're looking for something quicker). The goal is to get editors to edit places that are normally outside of their typical areas and improving contents in areas that are often neglected or has outdated info.
