- 1 Tacony Plantation, west of town off US Hwy 84/425, ☏ . Open by appointment only. The last remaining brick antebellum house in Vidalia, built around 1845 as an overseer's house. Originally owned by Alfred Vidal Davis, Sr., one of the wealthiest planters in the state in the mid-19th century. John R. Lynch, Mississippi's first black congressman, was born into slavery on the plantation in 1847.
- Jim Bowie Festival and BBQ Throwdown. Held annually in September. Includes the state championship BBQ cook-off and live music.
