Wangan Township (望安鄉 Wàng'ān Xiāng in Mandarin, Bāng-oaⁿ-hiong in Minnan) is a rural township in Penghu County (the Pescadores), Taiwan.

Wangan is the second smallest township after Cimei Township in Penghu County. The township is made up of eighteen islands six of which are inhabited.

The islands are connected via 1 Wang-an Airport (望安機場). which runs daily services to Kaohsiung.

There are a number of ferries which connect Wangan to the other islands in Penghu, which leave from 2 Wang An Tanmen Harbour (望安潭門港)..

Zhai Old-Style Historical Houses
  • 1 Wangan Green Turtle Tourism and Conservation Center (望安綠蠵龜觀光保育中心). 08:30 - 17:30. A conservation center for turtles in Tungan Village. The center exhibits the natural ecology in Wangan and exhibitions on turtles, environment and ecology.    
  • 2 Dongjiyu Lighthouse (東吉嶼燈塔). The original steel lighthouse was built on this site in 1911, and it was replaced with the current reinforced concrete structure in 1938. The lighthouse was constructed following the sinking of several ships in the surrounding area.
  • 3 Hua-Zhai Old-Style Historical Houses (望安花宅聚落). A series of old, one-story stone houses which often feature colourful painted rooves.
