Washington is a borough and a township in Skylands region of New Jersey. It is not to be confused with Washington in Morris County just a few miles away.

• 2 Port Colden. A historic district that was an important transportation location, being on the Morris Canal and the Morris and Essex Railroad. The grand historic houses are unfortunately somewhat dilapidated. (updated Aug 2021)
