Wrightsville is a historic town in York Township, Pennsylvania.

editWrightsville was founded in 1732 by John Wright. It was once home to the largest covered bridge in the world, however it was destroyed by water damage in 1814. George Washington reportedly considered Wrightsville as a possible location for America's capital, though this distinction was later given to Washington, D.C.
