Yangju
city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, south of Dongducheon and north of Uijeongbu, not far from Seoul
Yangju is located in northern Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Attractions include Dobongsan Mountain, Bulgoksan Mountain, Gamaksan Mountain, Bukhansan Mountain, Songchu Valley, and Jangheung tourist attractions.

editYangju has an area of 310.49 square kilometers and a population of about 280,000. It is located in contact with Pocheon-si, Uijeongbu-si, Gangbuk-gu, Dobong-gu, Goyang-si, Paju-si, and Dongducheon-si. The city is divided into three administrative districts: Baekseok-eup, Gwangjeok-myeon, Nam-myeon, Eunhyeon-myeon, Jangheung-myeon. Yangju has a very wide range of military facilities, and the Armed Forces Yangju Hospital is located.
