Ypacarai is a small town around 40km from Asunción, the capital of Paraguay. Buses pass through it on the way to San Bernardino and other destinations to the east. It is very small, but quite pleasant. A nice place to stop for an hour if you have the time.

editLimited number of craft stores; minimarkets and pharmacies.

editSmall bars with tables and chairs outside.
Sleep
editThe only hotel in town appears to be very much closed. Aregua or San Bernardino are much better options for sleeping.
