Signed with initials 'JC' (lower left). The Du Teillay a French privateer ship, commissioned as such in Nantes in 1744 accompanied by the ship ‘Elizabeth’ (L'Elisabeth) was fired upon by HMS Lion, in an action on the 9 July 1745
