From a plaque on the side: Almost a Landmark, The Decade, On this site from September 1973 until August 1995 once stood "The Decade": Home of Rock 'N' Roll. It was a haven for many of the finest local and nationally acclaimed musicians. For almost a quarter of a century, proprietor, Dominic Disilvio, along with his family established "The Decade" as an enduring icon in Pittsburgh Music History.
