Geta is in the northernmost part of the Åland mainland, bordering the Bothnian Sea. It is known for hills, gorges and caves.

Eat

• 1 Soltuna Restaurang & Café, Getabergsvägen, ☏ +358 18 49530. Is known for its good food and fair-sized café delicacies. Next to the restaurant, there is a nature trail down to a rock cave, which served as a refuge for the villagers during the unrest of the early 18th century. From the cave, the path continues down to Djupviken’s natural harbor, one of Geta’s most photographed landscapes. (updated Jun 2021)
