Being a series of fishing villages along the cost, Shakotan is famous for its fresh seafood. However, most restaurants in Shakotan close by 16:00.
- Uroko. 11:00-20:00. Rinkoso's small restaurant on the coast, serving fresh seafood. ¥1000 for sashimi bowl and ¥3000 for uni bowl.
- Misaki, 236 Hiduka-cho, Shakotan-gun, 046-0326, ☏ +81 135-45-6547. 9:00-?. Seafood restaurant. To acquire their special Red Bafun Uni, only available between July and August, one must arrive one hour before opening, given only 15 servings are made per day, for ¥5000 each.
