Accent or not? edit

We spell the city Cádiz, so why do we spell the name of the province without the accent? Should we change the name? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:06, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

FWIW, w:en:Province of Cádiz uses the accent. I support changing the name. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 21:30, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Done, but I'm not up to changing all the links right now. I'd say that's not super-urgent to do. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:16, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I fixed the categorization, though – that was an urgent thing to do. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 09:25, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I didn't think we actively did anything to categorization. What did you edit, and how? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:48, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
The breadcrumbing, that is. Just had to move Category:Cadiz (province) to Category:Cádiz (province) and change the name in every {{IsPartOf}} of an article. Nothing too much. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 23:06, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've never actively changed a category, and I think that's unnecessary. Yes, it's good to change the IsPartOf so as (I think) not to have a redirect in it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:57, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's necessary or otherwise it messes up with the breadcrumbs at the top (see the top left corner of this screenshot for what I'm talking about). SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 09:27, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Oh, that's problematic. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:05, 15 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I sometimes wish we had a bot that fixed this for us. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 11:02, 15 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Cádiz (province)" page.
