Old Beer edit
I think the translation is not correct. The beer is called "Altbier" but that is not due to the age of the beer but because of the brewing procedure. Alt comes comes the latin "altus" meaning up or high. I think the translation is Altbeer not Old beer.
Ü = UE, hence shouldn't the town be spelled Duesseldorf?

What is this about "Dusseldorf" meaning "dummy" or "fool"? Never heard that before, nor can I find anything to support that in dictionaries (online or otherwise). Was that written by a Kölner?
- "Dussel" really does mean "dummy", "Dusseldorf" would therefore be "village of fools". So you should either write "Düsseldorf" or "Duesseldorf" if you have no umlauts available 85.177.249.234 17:48, 19 December 2010 (EST)
Taxi? edit
I think taxis should be mentioned in the "getting around" section. I had a particularly bad experience. I took a cab from the intl. airport to a nearby hotel (the hotel said the fare was 8-9€) this taxi does not start the meter and asks for 20. --(WT-en) Shreyasjoshis 06:12, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
"Drink" section -- Photo edit
You really should get another photo for the "Drink" section. The current one shows a glass of beer (Pilsener), but they have mainly the dark-brown "Altbier" in Düsseldorf. And they are really picky about that!
