Žodzina (Belarusian: Жодзіна; also spelt Zhodino from its Russian form: Жодино) is a town in Minsk voblasć, Belarus.

Žodzina is located in about 50km from the Belarusian capital, Minsk. It is best known for being the home to BelAZ, a manufacturer of huge damp tracks and super heavy-duty hauliers.

Buses are the quickest means of transport to Žodzina from Minsk. Buses arrive and depart from a tiny bus station in the town centre. Passing-by buses stop nearby. From Minsk, locals normally travel by minivans (marshrutka, BYN3,5 paid in cash to the driver; travel time - 45 minutes) departing from the Uschod - Усход - metro station, in front of the Dana Mall. Minivans for Barysaŭ stop in Žodzina too.

Train

Most trains from Minsk (departing the central station, Minsk Pasažyrski) to Barysaŭ and Orša stop in Žodzina. Tickets can be purchased from the Belarusian Railway[dead link] website, app and ticket offices. The journey takes about 50 minutes on the quickest train.

From Minsk, take the M-2 и P-53, about 45km from the Minsk circular road.
