edit- The South West Coast Path runs through the town offering spectacular cliff-top views, and connects Budleigh to nearby Exmouth and Sidmouth.
- Beach. The town has a pebble beach; the westernmost end is designated for naturists (nudists), and the Council has erected signs to this effect.

editThe village is down the hill out of sight of the mobile transmitters, so as of Sept 2023 there is 4G from all UK carriers on the approach road, but reception in the village is patchy especially indoors. 5G has not reached this area.
