Dimitrovgrad
Dimitrovgrad may refer to settlements in three different countries, all (re)named after Georgi Dimitrov (1882-1949), the first leader of Communist Bulgaria:
- Dimitrovgrad (Bulgaria) — a "planned city" built from scratch in South-Central Bulgaria in the 1940s
- Dimitrovgrad (Russia) — an industrial city in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia; it was called Melekess until 1972
- Dimitrovgrad (Serbia) — a town in Eastern Serbia, annexed from Bulgaria after World War I; it was called Caribrod (Tsaribrod) until 1950
