Douglas is a very small town in the Lakes and Gardens area of North Dakota. It has a population of about 64 people. Its elevation is 2,055 feet above sea level.

Douglas is located north of Lake Sakakawea, about 35 miles south and west of Minot. It is between Max and Ryder on the CPR line.

By car: from Bismarck, travel north on US-83 about 70 miles. About 3 miles past Max, just as you enter Ward County, turn west on two-lane paved road to Douglas, about 9 miles.
