Easton is a historic town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

editGet in
editBy car
editDriving to Easton is very simple, in large part because of U.S. 50 running through it on its way to Ocean City. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, weekend beach traffic may cause long delays.
Get around
editBy car
editSince U.S. 50 gets backed up during the summer, find routes that avoid the highway as much as possible. That said, you will likely encounter backups at nearby intersections as well. If going downtown, there is a mix of free and metered parking lots. See the parking map on the official town website for the specific parking locations.
On foot
editMuch of the town is very walkable, especially downtown.
By bicycle
editThe Easton Rails-to-Trails runs for approximately 2.5 miles and connects the northern and southern portions of the town.
