  • 1 Courtallam — Famous for waterfalls, known as the Sap of South India
  • 2 Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin) — the southernmost tip of the Indian mainland. Famous tourist spots like Vivekananda rock, Thiruvalluvar statue, beach, etc... present here.
  • 3 Kavalkinaru — a well-educated town with windmills in the surrounding area
  • 4 Kovilpatti — known as the Matchless City of Matches, it's famous for its match industry. The town is famous for a sweet Kadalai mittai (Peanut chikki)
  • 5 Mondaikadu — located on the coast this city is famous for the Mandaikadu Bhagavathy Amman Temple
  • 6 Nagercoil — St. Francis Xavier stayed here and built a church on land awarded to him by the Venad king. Headquarters of Kanyakumari district. Famous for Nagaraja temple.
  • 12 Surandai — emerging town, north of Thirunelveli, with good views of the western ghats
  • 13 Swamithoppe — a historical town with vast cultural and religious heritage, the religious head-quarters of Ayya vazhi
  • 14 Tenkasi — famous for its numerous waterfalls
  • 15 Thoothukudi — headquarters of the Thoothukudi district, is famed for pearl fishing, production of salt, fishing and related businesses
  • 16 Tiruchendur — A famous pilgrimage site for Hindus located on the shores of Bay of Bengal. Sri Subramanya Swami temple is located here.
  • 17 Tirunelveli — Headquarters of Tirunelveli district. The city got its name from the historic Nellaiyappar temple located here. The city is famous for sweet Halwa.
