Ikom
Ikom is a local government area in Cross River State in South South Nigeria. Ikom is known as a major producer of banana and plantain. The majority of its occupants are farmers.

Ikom is one of the few developing local governments in Cross River State. In 2006, it was home to 162,000 people.

You can get into Ikom from Calabar by road. It takes about 4 hours for the journey. It is accessible only via road. There are several transportation services from all part of Nigeria to Ikom. They include Peace mass, Young shall grow and Cross country.

The area is accessible by road only. The major mode of transportation is by motorcycle. You can take a bike to anywhere in that area for just #100.

- Agbokim waterfall is one beautiful sight to behold at Ikom. It is a natural waterfall with up to 6 colours changing intermediately.
- 1 Ikom monoliths. A series of about 300 volcanic-stone monoliths between 0.3 and 1.8 metres (1 and 6 feet) high, and are laid out in some 30 circles located around Alok in the Ikom area. They believed to have been engraved between the 16th and 20th century CE.
