Katihar is a city in the north eastern part of the Indian state of Bihar. The city is somewhat close to the Nepalese border and is also the capital of the Katihar district.

  • 1 Gogabil Lake, +91 8294659250, . One of the largest wetland and bird watching areas in the state. In 2019, it became Bihar's first conservation reserve. The lake provides a habitat to numerous aquatic flora and fauna as well as 130 birds, of which around 30 are migratory.
