Koshigaya (越谷) is accessible on the Tobu Skytree line from Ueno or the Musashino line from Tokyo/Funabashi.

Koshigaya city has 7 stations within the city boundaries, they are Gamo (蒲生), Shin-Koshigaya (新越谷), Koshigaya (越谷), Kita-Koshigaya (北越谷) and Sengendai (せんげん台) on the Isesaki Line and 2 stations on the Musashino Line, Koshigaya Laketown (越谷レイクタウン) and Minami Koshigaya (南越谷).

In April, the river near Kita Koshigaya station is lined with blossoming sakura (cherry blossom) trees. A walk of about 1 km will bring you to a park that has been filled with the beautiful flowering trees.

  • Aeon Lake Town (イオンレイクタウン). The largest shopping complex in Japan and one of the largest in Asia with 700+ shops. It has three premises:"kaze", "mori" and newer "outlet". Opened in 2008.

McDonald's and Yoshinoya are right near the train station, as well as several other restaurants and vendor booths.
