Lighthouses in New Jersey is an itinerary along the coast of New Jersey.

Understand edit

The New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge occurs every October, which involves visiting all the lighthouses of the Jersey Shore and some on the Delaware Bay, along with a few lifesaving stations.

Some of these lighthouses are no longer functional.

Prepare edit

Many of these lighthouses are on land and could be reached by car; however, some of these are in the open ocean and require a boat to visit.

Get in edit

Both New York City and Philadelphia are near the endpoints of the coastal route.
