editThe Magetan Regency area has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons which are influenced by the monsoon winds. The dry season is influenced by the east monsoon wind which is dry and cold. The rainy season is influenced by the west monsoon wind which is wet and damp. The dry season takes place when the easterly monsoon blows, namely in the period May – October with the peak of the dry season being August. Meanwhile, the rainy season takes place when the westerly monsoon blows, namely in the November – April period with the peak of the rainy season being January.
