Montville is a town in New Jersey. It is largely a bedroom community for people who work in New York, but it has a nice small-town feel to it. In 2007, Montville was ranked by Money magazine as the 13th best place to live in the United States and the best in New Jersey.

There is decent shopping extremely close by in Boonton, where there is a Walmart, A & P, and other major chains, as well as a large main street with mom-and-pop businesses.
The nearest mall is the Willowbrook Mall along U.S. Highway 46, about 15 minutes away from most points. There is a large food court and many stores. Other mall options include the Short Hills Mall and the many malls of Paramus.
