New Port Richey, otherwise known as NPR, or New Port, is a city founded in 1924 that is full of restaurants, stores, and activities, in the Big Bend Coast region of Florida.

By car
edit- US-19 - a north-south route, passes through both Port Richey and New Port Richey, connecting to other cities in the area, such as Clearwater, and St. Petersburg. Main St intersects US-19, with restaurants, shops, parks, and the historical society east of US-19.
- Ridge Road - an east-west route, passes north of NPR and through Port Richey. Connecting to US-19 and Rowan, both taking you south near the historic downtown.
- SR-54 - an east-west route, passes south of NPR . Connecting to Elfers, Odessa, Land O' Lakes, and Wesley Chapel, eventually turning into SR-56, which takes you to Zephyrhills.
By bus
edit- Pasco County Public Transportation. County provided bus service that has a variety of routes. Bikes permitted on bike rack, no permit required. Connections give travelers access to bus service that connects with Pinellas and Hillsborough county public transportation services.
Get around
editDriving - This is probably the easiest for traveling outside the core of downtown. There are several major roads in the area that takes you
Walking - There are sidewalks on most roads in the area. Most roads in downtown have wider sidewalks then others, though US-19 is known for being dangerous for pedestrians.
Biking - There are several multi-use paths and bike lanes near the city. Parts of US-19, Rowan Road, and Ridge Road have wide multi-use pathways, and parts of Grand Avenue have bike lanes.
Buses - Pasco County's bus service takes you from the downtown all across the county, with several routes in NPR and PR to get you to any place you need. The Fares are a one-time ride for $1.50, a day pass for $3.75, and a 31-day pass for $37.50.

Grassin Bridge, originally made in 1967, made a historical maker in 2017, the Hacienda, an old hotel from 1927 that was renovated in 2022, and the NPR City Hall & Public Library.
