The North Sea Trail is a hiking trail through the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The trail has a theoretical total length of about 4900 km, but so far only about 3700 km have been developed.

editAberdeenshire coastal trail
editAberdeenshire is one of the partner regions that maintain a leg of the trail. It follows the beach from 7 Cullen through 8 Fraserburgh and 9 Peterhead to 10 Montrose.
Fife coastal path
edit- 1 Fife Coastal Path. Fife has path around most of its coast, passing through St Andrews, Aberdour, Leven, Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, North Queensferry, Rosyth and Culross.
John Muir Way
edit- The John Muir Way. is a path from Helensburgh on the Clyde to Dunbar. The eastern part of the route takes you through The Lothians from 11 Bo'ness via 12 Edinburgh to 13 Dunbar.
Berwickshire Coastal Path
editThis Berwickshire Coastal Path starts about 9 mi (14 km) south of Dunbar. the John Muir Link path follows the coast to link the two paths.
