Río Muni, called Mbini in the Fang language, is the mainland territory of Equatorial Guinea.

- 3 Ciudad de la Paz — previously known as Oyala and Djibloho, this planned city is being built as new capital
- 4 Cogo — called Puerto Iradier during Spanish rule, it is known for its ruins of colonial architecture
- 5 Ebebiyin — a major access point in the far northeast corner
- 6 Evinayong — a small mountain-top town known for its nightlife, its market and the nearby waterfalls
- 7 Mbini — known for its seafood and for nearby beaches
- 8 Mongomo — a city on the border with Gabon with an airport for domestic flights

editThe main languages spoken in Río Muni are Fang-Ntumu, which is spoken in the north, and Fang-Okak, which is spoken in the south. Spanish also is spoken, although only as a second language.
