Seberang Takir is a small kampung en route to the Kuala Terangganu airport. However, this typical Malay kampung has one small eating outlet which is famous for its fruit juice drinks, served in oversized mugs. Then enjoy the "pulut panggang", a local delicacy of barbecued glutinous rice with hot spicy grated dried shrimps.

Aside from food (see "Eat" below), the major products of Seberang Takir are clothing, particularly kain batek and kain songket.
The food Seberang Takir is famous for is keropok lekor, a sausage made from fish paste and sago palm flour, which is deep fried or boiled and eaten hot. Also available is keropok keping - a dried slice of keropok lekor, which should be fried before eating. You can find the keropok stall near the Sekolah Menengah Ibrahim Fikri (secondary school).
