Tabarka is a city in Northern Tunisia.
Founded as a Phoenician trading port, the city was later used extensively by the Romans as a means to export resources.
It is possible to take a louage from Bizerte however this may require extensive changes. On the plus side, the countryside is beautiful!
Everything seems walkable.
- Restaurant le Festival. On a corner slightly in from the marina, opposite Hotel de la Page. Outdoor and indoor (no smoking) seating. Extensive menu, seafood focus but not exclusively.
You can order from a fairly extensive drinks menu at Restaurant le Festival. The Vieux Magon red isn't bad at 20 DT.
