Anguilla! what a beautiful place! Spent a week there and never wanted to leave. Having gone with my girlfriend and her parents for the wedding of a local couple they befriended through their many stays on the island, the local hospitality was incredible. The entire island had a small town feel as if everyone knew each other in some respect. Yes there is a lot of poverty on the island, however i never felt out of place...and if i did, having stayed in a villa at Viceroy...I'd have no issue never leaving the resort. —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) Drtrdr5820 (talkcontribs)

Bear with me. I'm beginning to add details, but this will take a while. It's been years since I wrote for Wikitravel and I'm a bit rusty. I hope to do minor additions in Feb 2013, then verify things on my next visit, and polish up format in March 2013.

Any thoughts on organizing hotels? I don't want to have a separate page for each beach and village, but would it make sense to group hotels by general area, as I did in Virgin_Gorda#Sleep? If I don't do this, and just classify by cost, my inclination is to set Budget at less than US$200 double, Moderate at $200 to $400. Does that make sense?

For restaurants, dare I create a separate category for Beach Places? This would be for the places like Gwen's, Roy's, Nat's Palm Grove, that serve light fare but also provide chairs, umbrellas and restrooms for folks to hang out. I'm inclined to list these places under Eat rather than Drink, because the focus is on food rather than drink.

No FoP in Anguilla, but do we care greatly about this photo? I don't and wouldn't mind simply removing it from the article, but what do you think? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:12, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
