Article Name

I propose that we change the name of the article to "The Blugrass Region." No local calls the area "Bluegrass Country." Even the first link on the page, to the KY tourism bureau [1] lists it as "The Blugrass Region." Mech Aaron (talk) 16:59, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

I've done the rename. It looks like calling it Bluegrass Country in the first place was just a sloppy mistake on my part—I got it right on the map! --Peter ^Talk 07:00, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Adding more locations

I live in this area and there's a lot more information I'd like to add. Several cities need to be added in my opinion, particularly Georgetown and Winchester. Since we're already over the 9-item limit, I propose to subdivide the listing without creating new pages. Start with Lexington (I know it's customary to put the capital first, but in this case the effective cultural and economic capital of the region is Lexington, not Frankfort, and Lexington is the most likely entry point and central base for visitors) and then have several subheadings dividing the region (probably one for the area north and east of Lexington, one for the area south of the Kentucky river, and one for the area west of Lexington including Frankfort).

A further question is what to do about Midway/Versailles. Currently we have an entry for Midway and not Versailles. That makes no sense because Versailles is larger and has more attractions. However, the two towns are so close to each other that most guides treat them as a unit. The same is true for Danville/Perryville. I'd therefore like to change the title of the Midway page to Versailles/Midway and of the Danville page to Danville/Perryville. (The second one is less important, since the main reason to have Perryville at all is the battlefield, whereas Versailles definitely needs to be acknowledged as a location in its own right.)

Is all of that OK? I may not get around to this for a while but I wanted to make sure that such significant changes were acceptable before going ahead.

Why did you try to delete it? All you did wrong was to omit a hard return before the section title. Anyway, this is a bottom-level region with no smaller subregions on Wikivoyage, so there is no limit to the number of city articles that can be breadcrumbed to it. In any case, you should never hesitate to start more articles about anyplace that you believe fulfills the criteria at Wikivoyage:What is an article.
