Regions

I've added the provinces in Central Laos but I don't know a lot about them so please add/rewrite the descriptions if you know more. Also, if anyone is able to create a map of the central provinces, please do. (WT-en) Rej8 01:26, 15 May 2011 (EDT)

The logic behind the regional split was discussed here. Whilst I think it is helpful that you have defined the components of Central Laos I do not think they need WT articles. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 08:00, 15 May 2011 (EDT)

Agreed, which is why I didn't make them links. If it's confusing though I'm happy to rename them to something else (eg. 'Vientiane & Surrounds') as there needs to be something more than a random list. That could work quite well with a central-only version of your Laos map as that already shows key places. I can't find any guidelines about sub-dividing large regions in any way other than provinces but if it exists, great. (WT-en) Rej8 10:40, 15 May 2011 (EDT)

At WT, low level regions usually (but not always!) end up being political divisions, be they provinces, counties or whatever. So, the way you have done it is consistent.--(WT-en) Burmesedays 10:50, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
