merge subregions

should we merge North, East and West Cork regions articles into this one? What little information is in them can be added here and there are not that many town articles for a bottom-level region. --Traveler100 (talk) 08:38, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

County listings

This county had 9 listings for car hire, 1 Do and 13 Eat. Six were deleted as they duplicated listings on the "City" page, 14 (including all the car hire) were migrated to their city, and two had gone out of business and were deleted. That leaves one Eat on this page that for the moment doesn't have a better home. Grahamsands (talk) 07:09, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

County update

The 2018 merger of subregions looks reasonable. In Nov 2020 all the "cities" have been overhauled (this enhances Cork's bid for DOTM) and the county page is nearing completion. No new pages have been created - there are 2 or 3 candidates, but with so many amenities shut down, they're best left for reconsideration in normal times. I propose two merger / redirections:

• Douglas > Cork - it's just a burb. And the page is just a recitation of bus routes, a shopping centre and a McDonalds, it's kinda sad.
• Rosscarbery > Clonakilty, the page is almost hollow and there's hardly anything there.
